  • NO 6 cigars for $19.95. This is not a Crap-Of-The-Month-Club

Unlike all other clubs, we will not re-bill your credit card once your membership is complete, unless you want us to renew, of course. We are consumers as well, and we know what it’s like to have cards re-billed when that was not your intent.

When will the cigars be at my door?

We ship within the first five days of the month, and cigars will be delivered in a bubble-protected envelope with a humidipak-controlled, sealed bag.

How we pick our cigars

While most cigars are filling you up with Macanudos, Romeos, Cohibas and Blah, Blah & Blah, you won’t see those coming from our shop. Not that they’re bad, but … well … they’re not that good. We think we can prove that to you.

These days, cigar makers are held to high standards, and 90-plus rated cigars are more common than not. And while some people have a beef with Cigar Aficionado and whether it represents the average cigar smoker, we still believe it knows how to pick ‘em. We also strongly support Cigar Press and value their rating system immensely. So each month you will find at your door the highest-rated cigars in the most current CA or Cigar Press. If there is something we strongly believe they missed, we will throw it in on the house and ask for your opinion.

A Letter from the Owner

Dear customers of Cigars on 6th,

First off, thank you for visiting the website for my shop: Cigars on 6th, which is one of Colorado’s premier cigar shops and smoking lounges, located just south of downtown Denver. And if you’re reading this, you’re interested in both the costs and benefits of a cigar-of-the-month club, as I once was.

When I first started seriously getting into cigar smoking many moons ago, I was gifted cigar-of-the-month memberships from just about every outfit on the web, including some local shops. It didn’t take me but two months to realize that these guys were more than likely dumping undesirable inventory. Regardless of the fact that I never had a good experience with any cigar-of-the-month club, I liked the concept, which we began discussing in the shop in negative terms.

Sadly for both the industry and the pastime, the average cigar-of-the-month club has nearly become a cliché, synonymous with the defeat of quality by quantity, hidden fees and empty promises. Well, we here at Cigars on 6th are taking aim at a good idea gone horribly sullied.

Our mission? To downright dazzle you each month with a smart selection of smoke. After that, we’re not going to hassle you. Here’s what else we won’t do.

We’re not going to discount 10 percent off your future purchases, because unless you live near the 303 or 720 area code, I don’t want you to re-order from me. If you like what we’ve sent you, I beseech you to visit your local shop and buy more. I strongly believe in support for your local joints, wherever you may be. Trust me, they don’t have it easy and can’t come close to competing with Internet sites. But I promise this: If you find the right shop, you will find friends for life … well, and a few you wish you might have never met, but I digress.
